ER means quickly reading enjoyable books that you can understand easily. If a book is above your level, you will have to look up words in a dictionary and you won't be able to read smoothly. If you don't understand the story, you won't enjoy the book. Because of this, knowing how to choose a book at the right level of difficulty is really important.
